Idromarambiente manufactures a special software that allows to employ the MAR-3
Probe, fitted with the sole Pressure sensor, as Tide meter and Wave meter (height and period only).
To measure the Wave direction too an electromagnetic current meter is coupled to the MAR-3.

The waves and current data processing is made by XMAR software witch provides waves main parameters and the current vector.
Because of the Pressure sensor use, the waves can be measured, with this system, up to few meters depth (10-12 meters).
